Schedule water, sewer, trash, and private services

The City says it bills residential customers for water and sewer and, when the address is inside city limits, trash and drainage. City trash service is limited to qualifying addresses inside McKinney city limits with a City water-billing account in good standing. Confirm electricity, gas, internet, security, irrigation, and any private waste service directly for the property.

Handle Texas and county records from current gateways

TxDMV currently states that a new Texas resident has 30 days after moving to register a vehicle and that a Texas driver license is required within 90 days. DPS provides the current driver-license process. Collin County Elections provides the registration and address-change instructions; eligibility and election deadlines should always be checked on the current page.

  • Vehicle registration and title tasks: Texas Department of Motor Vehicles and the county tax office.
  • Driver license or ID: Texas Department of Public Safety.
