Welcome to Around Plano, a short list of local things worth knowing about. As November calendars start to fill, this edition brings together a food-and-wine afternoon, two holiday shopping stops and a Thanksgiving option that leaves the cooking to someone else.
Make an afternoon of the Plano Food + Wine Festival
Saturday, November 7 | Noon–6 p.m. | Legacy West
The festival brings together wine tasting, restaurant bites, culinary demonstrations and shopping. Choose a food-only, wine-only or combination ticket rather than assuming every pass includes everything. Food tastings run from noon to 4 p.m., even though the festival continues until 6 p.m. Check the current ticket options before making plans.
